Recently inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame, Debra Lee, the chairman and CEO of BET Networks, is one of this country’s most respected business executives. She and Dean Steve Reinemund will take a conversational approach to the traditional presentation in Broyhill Auditorium in Farrell Hall, the new home of the School of Business on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 3:30 p.m.
Lee will be the first guest for the Broyhill Executive Lecture Series – “Leading Out Loud” — for the 2013-14 academic year and the first in the new Farrell Hall. Named one of The Hollywood Reporter’s “100 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment,” Lee’s achievements in a 25-plus year career at BET Networks have earned her numerous accolades from across the cable industry.
“Leading Out Loud” is a Wake Forest School of Business lecture series created to educate and inspire business students through exposure to industry leaders who shape today’s business world. This series is made possible by the generous support of the Broyhill Family Foundation of Lenoir, N.C. The event is free and open to the public. Wake Forest students and alumni will have priority seating. A reception will follow, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
