The campus cable television (CATV) system will not be available between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, because of work related to a CATV upgrade. Intermittent outages might also be experienced during the day on Wednesday, Jan. 9. Information Systems apologizes for any inconvenience that this CATV outage may cause. Following is helpful information about what you can expect and may need to do after the CATV upgrade:
New CATV channel lineup
After the CATV upgrade, the new CATV systems will provide an array of channels including many digital and music choice channels. Visit this link to view a list of channels.
Synchronize the channels with your television
After the CATV upgrade, many televisions will lose synchronization with the channels and show static or a blank screen. If your television loses synchronization with the cable television channels, you will find step-by-step instructions for restoring the connection between your television and the campus television cable network on this Information Systems Web page.
