Danu, a traditional Irish ensemble, will be performing “A Christmas in Ireland” on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Wait Chapel.

The performance is part of the University’s Secrest Artist Series, which brings internationally renowned talent to campus.

Tickets to the performances are available free of charge to Wake Forest faculty and staff from the Theatre Box Office, the Benson Center Ticket Office or by calling the Secrest Artist Series Office at 758.5757. (Limit two free season tickets per person. Presentation of a valid WFU ID is required).

Graduate and undergraduate students also receive a free ticket.

Danu’s performance will feature the flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion and bouzouki, and will include a special appearance by local Irish dancers.

A pre-performance talk will begin at 6:40 p.m. in the Balcony Room of Wait Chapel.
