K. Monet Rice has joined Wake Forest as an associate chaplain. In her role, Rice will develop and implement religious, educational and spiritual programming for students and other members of the Wake Forest community. She will join other chaplains in providing spiritual and pastoral leadership to students, faculty and staff from diverse populations.
Rice received her bachelor’s degree in history from Louisiana State University and her master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Before coming to Wake Forest, she worked at Cornell University and served on the staff of the Concord Baptist Church of Christ in Brooklyn, N.Y.
