Longtime Aramark employee passes away

Gregory Rumfelt, who worked for Aramark Food Services on campus for 13 years, passed away on Sunday, March 25. Rumfelt, 48, died of a brain tumor.

Rumfelt suffered severe injuries in a car crash in 1981, and he worked hard to live independently, a goal he achieved in 1997. He used an electric scooter for transportation to his job at Wake Forest, and he served as an advocate for people with special needs.
