The Wake Forest University Board of Trustees on Feb. 3 approved new graduate and professional school tuition for the 2006-2007 fiscal year.

Full-time tuition in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences will increase 5 percent to $26,985. Part-time tuition for Graduate School students will rise by 4.9 percent.

Full-time tuition in the School of Law will increase by 5.7 percent to $29,500. Tuition for the Master of Laws program for international lawyers and students will increase by 7.4 percent to $27,500.

The trustees approved tuition increases for the various programs in the Babcock Graduate School of Management. Tuition for first-year students in the full-time program will rise by 6.8 percent to $31,500. The following increases were approved for the other MBA programs: executive program, fast track, 5 percent, $32,550; Charlotte evening program, first year, 3.5 percent, $29,500; Charlotte Saturday program, 3.5 percent, $29,500; and evening program, first year, 3.6 percent, $28,500.

Full-time tuition for the Divinity School will increase by 5.4 percent to $14,500. Part-time tuition will increase by 5.4 percent, also.

Summer School tuition for undergraduates and Graduate School students increased by 7 percent.

Last October, the trustees approved new undergraduate tuition and housing costs for the 2006-2007 year.
