Henderson elected president of counselor education association

Donna Henderson, associate professor of counseling at Wake Forest University, has been elected president of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), a division of the American Counseling Association. Henderson will serve as president-elect during the 2003-2004 academic year and president during the 2004-2005.

Henderson, who joined Wake Forest in 1996, is co-author of “The Handbook of School Counseling” and “Counseling Children.” She has written several articles for academic journals. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Meredith College, a master’s degree from James Madison University and a doctorate from the University of Tennessee.
