Calloway School announces new faculty positions

The Wayne Calloway School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University recently named several staff and faculty members to new administrative positions within the school.

They are as follows:

  • Helen Akinc was named assistant dean for student professional affairs. Akinc, who was previously the director of student services, joined Wake Forest in 1987. Akinc is also director of Calloway’s Summer Management Program.
  • J. Kline Harrison was named associate dean for curriculum and administration. Harrison joined Wake Forest’s faculty in 1990.
  • Betsy Hoppe was named assistant dean for student academic affairs. She was previously the assistant dean and director of information technology. Hoppe joined Wake Forest in 1993.
  • Dale Martin was named associate dean for academic programs and resources. Martin, who is also the Wayne Calloway Professor of Financial Accounting, joined Wake Forest’s faculty in 1982.
