Wake Forest University faculty receive promotions

The following eight Wake Forest University faculty members of the Reynolda Campus will receive promotions effective July 1:

• Christy M. Buchanan, assistant professor of psychology, will be promoted to associate professor.
• Brian L. Gorelick, assistant professor of music, will be promoted to associate professor.
• Donna A. Henderson, assistant professor of education, will be promoted to associate professor.
• Simeon Ilesanmi, assistant professor of religion, will be promoted to associate professor.
• Wayne E. King, lecturer of English (journalism), will be promoted to associate professor.
• Soledad Miguel-Prendes, assistant professor of Romance languages, will be promoted to associate professor.
• Simone A. Rose, associate professor in the Wake Forest School of Law, will be promoted to professor.
• M. Stanley Whitley, associate professor of Romance languages, will be promoted to professor.
