McCray Named BellSouth Mobility Fellow at WFU

Gordon McCray of Winston-Salem was recently named the BellSouth Mobility Technology Faculty Fellow for the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy at Wake Forest University.

McCray joined the Calloway school as an assistant professor in 1995. As the BellSouth Mobility Faculty Fellow, McCray will research and develop curriculum initiatives in the areas of information systems and technology. McCray’s appointment was made possible through funding by BellSouth Mobile Systems based in Atlanta.

McCray, who specializes in the uses of information technology for business applications and product management, often teaches courses in information systems and technology.

Before joining Wake Forest, McCray worked for several years as an engineer and engineering manager for an international manufacturing firm.

McCray earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Wake Forest and a master of business administration from Stetson University, where he also taught courses as an adjunct professor. McCray earned his doctorate in information and management sciences from Florida State University.
