Wake Forest University has named Lloyd Whitehead as director of electronic communication.
Whitehead, who has been a writer and assistant editor in the University Editor’s Office at Wake Forest since 1995, will be responsible for maintaining Wake Forest’s Web home page and subsidiary pages that convey university information. He will also help academic and administrative departments in the implementation of their Web sites, providing consultation, an on-line users’ guide, and an image archive.
Formerly an editor and writer for several Florida newspapers, Whitehead was a columnist and editor at the Sarasota Weekly before joining Wake Forest.
He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida.
