Louis R. Morrell, vice president for investments and treasurer at Wake Forest University, has been presented the Rodney H. Adams Award from the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). Morrell received the award at the organization’s annual meeting in Boston on July 19.
The award, sponsored by The Common Fund, recognizes outstanding contributions to professional development and research activities in the fields of endowment and investment management.
In addition to speaking at several investment conferences each year, Morrell has written 85 articles and publications addressing the economic aspects of college and university endowments and investments. Morrell has served on various finance, strategic planning, and steering committees within the higher education community.
His affiliations include the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers, the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers, the College and University Personnel Association, NACUBO and the United Way.
