Construction Closes Part of Wingate Road, Parking Lot

Wake Forest University will temporarily close a section of Wingate Road and a campus parking lot in March due to construction activities with the universityís new south chiller plant.

A section of Wingate Road at the entrance to the universityís power plant will be closed from March 8 to March 14. Anyone needing to visit the universityís police, parking management or facilities management offices can avoid the closed section by taking Faculty Drive and turning left onto Wingate Road. Then use the entrance on the right, just past the road leading to the baseball stadium.

A row of parking spaces in Lot F, next to the football practice field on Wingate Road, will be closed from March 5 to March 8.
