Else, Combes Join University Relations Staff

Joshua Else of Winston-Salem and Melissa N. Combes of Greensboro have joined the University Relations staff at Wake Forest University.

Combes was named director of development and alumni relations for the Babcock Graduate School of Management.

Combes is the former director of major gifts at Guilford College in Greensboro. Combes, a second-year student in Babcock’s executive MBA program, also has worked for Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., and with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education in Washington.

Else, a 1993 Wake Forest graduate, was named as a development officer for university’s School of Law.

Else has previous experience in advertising sales for newspapers and magazines. In the past year, he earned a teaching certificate in secondary education and was studying for a master’s degree in education at Gannon University.
