Martin Awarded Price Waterhouse Professorship

Dale R. Martin, a former Roanoke resident and a 1964 graduate of Roanoke-Benson High School, was awarded the Price Waterhouse Professorship for Academic Excellence for his work at Wake Forest University.

The professorship recognizes outstanding effectiveness in teaching, extensive interaction with the accounting profession and business community, and an overall commitment to academic excellence.

Martin, who joined Wake Forest’s faculty in 1982, coordinates the accounting program for the Calloway School of Business and Accountancy.
