Professor Emeritus William Hottinger

We are saddened to announce that William (Bill) Hottinger, professor emeritus of health and exercise science, died Feb. 19.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on June 10 at Wait Chapel.  An obituary appeared Feb. 28 in the Winston-Salem Journal.

Professor Hottinger joined the Wake Forest faculty in 1970.  He retired in 1996.  He chaired the Department of Health and Exercise Science from 1974 to 1990.

We grieve Professor Hottinger’s death and extend our condolences to his family and friends, as well as those at Wake Forest who had the opportunity to know him.
