Free wellbeing coaching and nutrition counseling available

Did you know that Wake Forest University’s Office of Wellbeing offers wellbeing coaching and nutrition counseling?

Wellbeing Coaching is a free service available to faculty and staff on the Reynolda campus. Enrollment for the program is now open. Clients will work one-on-one with a certified coach to identify their individual health and wellbeing goals, and then co-create a plan to achieve those goals and make them stick.

Active full- and part-time faculty and staff should complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Planning – Employee Survey by Friday, Feb. 12. Continue to closely monitor email and respond quickly to any notifications of vaccination opportunities or take advantage of any other opportunity to get vaccinated.

Wellbeing Center open for faculty, staff and retirees

A message from Campus Recreation:

Whether working from home or on campus, you can work out at the Wellbeing Center! The weight rooms, pool and climbing Students wearing masks and using the Wellbeing Center climbing wallwall are open and available for use by reservation. Group fitness classes are offered both in-person and by livestream.

To ensure compliance with capacity limitations, reservations are required to use the facilities and join in-person fitness programs. You can book space up to 48 hours in advance via the campus recreation website.

Campus Recreation offers extensive programming for faculty and staff  at the Wake Forest Wellbeing Center!
Opportunities for faculty and staff include the following:
  • DEAC circuit and yoga classes, noon. Schedule.
  • Group exercise classes, noon. Schedule.
  • Small group training–TRX and bootcamp, noon. Schedule.
  • Intramurals–Faculty and staff-only sport leagues starting with flag football and sand volleyball.  Register here.
  • Aquatics – Swim lessons (adult and child), SCUBA Certifications, and masters swim.  More information.

Wellbeing Center to be close early on April 26; reopen April 27 on regular schedule

The Wake Forest Wellbeing Center, including Reynolds Gym and Sutton Center, will be closed on Thursday, April 26 from 1:30 p.m. until midnight for a private event.

The Wellbeing Center will resume normal hours of operations on Friday, April 27.

Wellbeing Center administrators announced, “This will be a one-time occurrence.  We apologize for the inconvenience.”
