Staff Advisory Council seeking nominations for new members

The following message was e-mailed to staff on behalf of the Staff Advisory Council on Feb. 11 by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations:

Dear WFU Staff,

The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is soliciting nominations for new members!

 The SAC, formed in 2006 by President Hatch, is an advisory body tasked with strengthening communication between the Staff and Administration at Wake Forest University. For more information on the role of the SAC, please visit the SAC website.

  • Candidates: May be nominated by another staff member, or they may self-nominate.
  • Nominations: Any staff member nominating another employee should inform the nominee of this intent, and determine if that employee is interested in serving on the council. You may nominate more than one person.
  • Eligibility Requirements: Employed full-time for a minimum of one year of service, and in good standing.
  • Deadline for Nominations: 5:00 pm on February 28th.

Suzanne Hawks to speak at Staff Advisory Council meeting

Suzanne Hawks, a disability and learning assistance specialist in the Learning Assistance Center, will make a presentation at the Staff Advisory Council’s (SAC) meeting on Feb. 12.

The SAC will meet from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Benson University Center, Room 401 B/D.  The meeting is open to all staff and others.
