Are you interested in having a voice about policies and issues impacting Wake Forest employees? Do you want to amplify the ideas, concerns, and suggestions of staff employees to the university administration? Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your leadership skills and help advise the President and their representatives on all subjects that affect staff? Do you want a stronger connection with the campus community? Join the Staff Advisory Council!

- Candidates: May be nominated by another staff member, or they may self-nominate.
- Nominations: Any staff member nominating another employee should inform the nominee of this intent, and determine if that employee is interested in serving on the council. You may nominate more than one person.
- Eligibility Requirements: Employed full-time for a minimum of one year of service, and in good standing.
- Deadline: Extended to April 23 at 5 p.m.

Nominations for “Employee of the Year” open through Sept. 14
Each year, Wake Forest presents two staff Employee of the Year awards to individuals who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to the University community. Faculty and staff members are invited to submit nominations by Friday, September 14.
All full- and part-time staff with five or more years of continuous University service are eligible for nomination. Staff Advisory Council representatives will review the nominations and select the two recipients. These recipients will be recognized with a plaque and $1,000 award at the Staff Rewards and Recognition Luncheon Tuesday, October 9.
Faculty and staff are invited to honor Employees of the Year and staff service milestones at a campus-wide celebration on Tuesday, October 9 at 4 p.m. in Reynolda Hall, Green room. All are invited to attend. No RSVP is required.
