Odom, Haenn win grant
Mike Odom, assistant athletic director for Marketing/Special Projects, and Meghan Haenn, assistant director of Campus Life, have received a $10,000 “Great Plays” grant from Miller Coors.
The grant funds will be applied toward reducing harmful and dangerous alcohol consumption at football games for the 2012 season.
Athletics and Campus Life will be collaborating to provide bystander intervention training and peer-to-peer substance abuse education and will continue the successful “Class of the Finest” event for seniors held before the last home football game of each season.
