The next Staff Advisory Council (SAC) meeting will be held Thursday, October 21, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Topics and speakers include:

Campus dialogues on honorifics and naming

Shannon Araya, director, absence and benefits, and
Beth Fay, assistant vice president, total rewards and HR solutions

CARE and case management: Who? what? why? when?

DeacWell App: Benefits of use for staff

Dana Lopez, director of programs, Campus Recreation, and

HR and Wellbeing staff to speak at Oct. 9 Staff Advisory Council meeting

Three guest speakers are scheduled for the Oct. 9 meeting of the Staff Advisory Council (SAC).

The meeting will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the Z. Smith Reynolds Library’s auditorium (Room 404).  The meeting is open to staff and others.

The speakers will be:

  • Mandy Martin, operations manager of the Wellbeing Center, who will provide an update on staff benefits and services provided by Campus Recreation and the Wellbeing Center
  • Shannon Araya, Human Resources assistant director of benefits, who will provide an update on the University’s benefits plan
  • Beth Fay, Human Resources assistant vice president of Total Rewards and HR Solutions, who will share an update on a child care initiative under consideration at Wake Forest
