Congratulations to retiring faculty and staff
A letter from President Nathan Hatch to the community
Dear Wake Forest Faculty, Staff and Students,
Commencement season is a time of celebration and new beginnings for those about to graduate. It is also a time to say thank you and bid farewell to many of our friends, colleagues and mentors who have made Wake Forest University their home.
Please join me in congratulating and commemorating a marvelous class of Reynolda Campus faculty and staff retiring from Wake Forest this year. We are profoundly grateful for the countless contributions from this remarkable group of individuals, who together have more than 600 years of service to the University:

FAS turns food donations into trees
Many Wake Forest offices and individual employees have helped others this holiday season by collecting food, toys, clothing and other things for those in need in the community.
Among those putting Pro Humanitate into action: the employees in Financial and Accounting Services held a canned food drive with a twist.
The 43 employees in FAS were divided into four teams to collect canned and boxed goods to donate to Wake Forest Campus Kitchen.
Later, each team constructed a holiday tree/scene with the goods collected — three in the FAS offices in the University Corporate Center and one in the FAS office in Reynolda Hall.
Nearly 1,700 cans and other items were collected. Wake Forest Campus Kitchen will use the items to provide boxed meals this holiday season for needy families in the community.
