McCauley named assistant director for STEM initiatives

Anita McCauley has been named Assistant Director for STEM Initiatives with the Teaching and Learning Collaborative.

McCauley graduated from Wake Forest with a degree in neurobiology. She started her career as the director of microscopy, a position she held for 10 years and has been teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses on the Reynolda and Medical Center campuses since 1998.

McCauley will work with faculty across the campus to enhance teaching and learning in STEM classes.

McCauley receives funding from NSF

Anita K. McCauley, adjunct assistant professor of biology, has received funding from the National Science Foundation for her proposal “MRI Acquisition of Accessories to Upgrade a Confocal Miscroscope Used for Research and Training at Wake Forest University.”
