Join President Hatch for a conversation about the State of the University

This announcement was e-mailed to faculty and staff on Oct. 22 by Communications and External Relations:

At the invitation of the Faculty Senate and Senate President Wilson Parker, President Nathan Hatch will discuss the State of the University on Thursday, Nov. 1, at 4 p.m. in Brendle Recital Hall.

This year’s address will incorporate a new format where President Hatch and campus leaders will engage in a conversation about various aspects of the University. All are invited to the State of the University event and a reception that will immediately follow in the lobby of Brendle Recital Hall.

President to present State of the University Address

President Nathan Hatch will deliver his annual State of the University Address, at the invitation of the Faculty Senate and Senate President Wilson Parker, on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. in Brendle Recital Hall.  The Senate invites all faculty, staff and students to attend as President Hatch reflects on the past decade, speaks about Wake Forest today, and anticipates opportunities and challenges ahead.

A reception will immediately follow in the lobby of Brendle Recital Hall, to which all are invited.

Parker co-writes book

Wilson Parker, professor of law, has co-written a book, “Ignorance is No Defense: A College Student’s Guide to North Carolina Law,” that explains how everything from using a fake ID to a practical joke gone wrong can quickly get college students in legal trouble.
