Share your thoughts about the future of Joel Coliseum

Since 1989, the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum has served as a community asset for the Triad and as the home of Wake Forest basketball. In August, Wake Forest purchased the coliseum and the surrounding 33 acres of parking from the City of Winston-Salem.

As we embark on the strategic facility planning process to determine the future of the coliseum, we feel it is important to understand the aspirations of all of our constituents, including not only Wake Forest fans and community members, but also our own faculty and staff. What do you want our arena to become? How can we best evolve it to create the best experience for our team, fans, and the entire Wake Forest community?

We invite you to take a few minutes to participate in a short online survey and give us your thoughts and ideas about the future of the LJVM Coliseum. The survey will be open until midnight on Sunday, Nov. 10. Complete the survey »

Also, don’t forget to vote in the “Wake the Street” competition to name the street that takes you to BB&T Field. The competition is down to four: Piccolo Lane, Red Ruddy Way, Victory Drive and Game Day Avenue. Vote here »
