Staff Appreciation Picnic to be held June 7

This is a guest post from the Staff Advisory Council:

Games were a fun part of the 2017 staff picnic and will be again this summer.

The Staff Advisory Council and the Office of Wellbeing are planning another fun-filled Staff Appreciation Picnic to be held June 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Reynolda Hall “cafeteria” (Fresh Food Company/The Pit). All staff are encouraged to come and enjoy a delicious lunch, play games (like Bingo and Cornhole!), and enjoy time with campus colleagues.

Shuttle transportation will be provided for staff at the University Corporate Center, Wake Downtown, Graylyn, and Reynolda House.

A canned food drive and a pet food drive will also be held at the picnic. All food donations will be provided to the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Forsyth County Humane Society.

Stay tuned to Inside WFU and the Staff Advisory Council newsletter for more details in the coming weeks.

SAC survey asks about staff experience at annual picnic

2017 Staff Appreciation Picnic

The Staff Advisory Council is encouraging staff to take a survey that provides an opportunity to comment on the Staff Appreciation Picnic held June 6.

The survey asks for comments about various aspects of the event, including the food, shuttles, location, music and more.  The survey is brief and quick to take online.

Hundreds of staff turned out for the “Tailgate at McCreary Tower” event held at BB&T Field.

In recent years, the Staff Advisory Council has held picnics for staff at campus area locations, including Reynolda House, a field next to Reynolda Village, and BB&T Field.  The stadium has been the location the past two years.
