While commencement season always brings about a sense of new beginnings and opportunities, it’s also a time to say thank you and bid farewell to many of our friends, colleagues and mentors who have called Wake Forest University home.

The next Faculty Senate meeting will be at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, in DeTamble Auditorium, Tribble Hall. Refreshments served starting at 3:30 p.m. All faculty are welcome.
Senate Committee Reports and discussions will include, among others: Fringe Benefits, Senior University Appointments, Academic Freedom and Responsibility and University Integration. Provost Rogan Kersh will report on the Trustees Meeting and give a Semester Online update.
Presenter and discussion topic will be “Coalition on Intercollegiate Athletics: Report of the COIA 2013 Annual Meeting” from Jane Albrecht, Romance Languages, who is the WFU COIA representative.
