Moot Court team wins Region IV Tournament, best brief and best oralist awards

law pic for InsideThe Wake Forest National Moot Court Team of Robert “Woody” Angle (JD ’16), Lauren Emery (JD ’16) and Kaitlin Price (JD ’16) won the Region IV Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 21, in Richmond, Virginia, going 5-0 against five different law schools and finishing first out of 21 teams from 12 law schools. The team also won the Best Brief Award after its brief received the highest score of the 21 briefs.

Price won the award for the best oralist, thereby earning the team every possible award given at the tournament, said team adviser Professor John Korzen (BA ’81, JD ’91), who accompanied the team to Richmond along with Professor Charley Rose, the team’s other adviser.
