Groves elected president of URMIA

Julie GrovesJulie Groves, director of risk services, has been elected president of URMIA — the University Risk Management and Insurance Association. URMIA is an international organization providing community, education and resources to higher education risk management and insurance professionals. Groves has been a member of URMIA since 2008 and has served on the board of directors for the past five years. She is a graduate of Wake Forest and has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.

Faculty, staff selected for leadership positions with off-campus groups

Congratulations to Julie Groves, manager of risk services, who was elected to the board of the University Risk Management & Insurance Association (URMIA).

Congratulations to Ana S. Iltis, professor of philosophy and director of the Center for Bioethics, Health and Society, who was elected president-elect of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities (ASBH).
