Parking at the President’s Home is extremely limited, so we ask that you take the provided campus shuttle or carpool.

Reynolda Campus shuttles will run from Parking Lot A (behind Wait Chapel) at the bottom of the stairs leading from Hearn Plaza to the President’s Home beginning at 12:45 p.m. until the last shuttle departs the President’s Home at 5 p.m.

Shuttles will run from the front door of the University Corporate Center (UCC) to the President’s Home beginning at 12:45 p.m. until the last shuttle departs the President’s Home at 5 p.m.

Athletics staff members with offices off-campus can utilize the shuttles running from the University Corporate Center (UCC) to the President’s Home beginning at 12:45 p.m. until the last shuttle departs the President’s Home at 5 p.m.

Reynolda House and Human Resources staff (in off-campus HR building) will be allowed to park on-campus the afternoon of 12/9 and utilize the shuttle running from Parking Lot A (behind Wait Chapel) beginning at 12:45 p.m. until the last shuttle departs the President’s Home at 5 p.m.

All shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes throughout the afternoon.

Non-exempt staff attending this Holiday Open House will be provided a maximum of one hour of paid release time.

Reynolda Campus holiday party to be held Dec. 11

tree.cookie.300x175Staff, faculty, and their families are invited to attend the Reynolda Campus Holiday Party from
3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, in The Barn.

The festive atmosphere will include crafts, food, and a visit from Santa Claus. The event should be especially fun for young children.

Shuttles will continuously run from the Benson University Center Traffic Circle, Lot P by the entrance to Wingate Hall, and by the Wake Forest Road entrance to Lot W1.

Optional donations of the following items to benefit Samaritan Ministries will be collected at the door:

  • New men’s and women’s socks
  • New men’s and women’s undershirts and thermals
  • Travel sized hygiene items (shampoo, toothpaste, lotion, etc.)
  • Packaged and transportable snacks (crackers, canned fruit with a pop top, peanut butter, etc.)

Holiday Party set for Tuesday

I am pleased to invite you and your family to the 2013 Reynolda Campus Holiday Party for faculty and staff on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 3-6 p.m. This year’s event will be held at The Barn and promises to be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spirit of the holiday season in the company of fellow Wake Foresters. With holiday arts and crafts stations, festive food, and a visit by Santa Claus, the gathering will be particularly fun for young children.

This year, we will also be adding a bit of Pro Humanitate to the event by collecting nonperishable food goods for Second Harvest Food Bank. Collection boxes will be stationed near the Barn entrance to accept your nonperishable canned or boxed food donations.

The Barn is located near Palmer and Piccolo Residence Halls and WFDD. Shuttle service will be provided on a continuously circulating route. Look for special Holiday Party Shuttle Stop signs in the Benson University Center traffic circle, by the entrance to Wingate Hall in Lot P, and by the Wake Forest Road entrance to Lot W1.

I am pleased to invite you and your family to the 2012 Reynolda Campus Holiday Party for faculty and staff on Thursday, Dec. 13. This year’s event will be held at The Barn and promises to be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spirit of the holiday season in the company of fellow Wake Foresters.
