Welsh publishes article, delivers paper

Helga Welsh, professor of political science, wrote an article, “Policy Transfer in the Unified Germany: From Imitation to Feedback Loops,” in German Studies Review (Vol. 33, no. 3, October 2010, pp. 531-548). She is also the co-editor of the Special Issue Section of the German Studies Review (October 2010) entitled “After Twenty Years: Change and Continuity in Unified Germany.” She also delivered a paper and was a commentator on two panels at the German Studies Association meeting in Oakland, Ca., in October.

Helga A. Welsh, professor of political science, has written two articles: “Germany: Ascent to Middle Power,” in European Foreign Policies: Does Europe Still Matter? (Rowman & Littlefield Publishers, 2010, Ronald Tiersky and Jon Van Oudenaren, eds.), pp. 211-234, and “Higher Education in Germany: Fragmented Change amid Paradigm Shifts,” in German Politics and Society, Vol. 28, No. 2, Summer 2010, pp. 53-70.
