New internal career portal

The new internal career portal for Wake Forest faculty and staff is live and ready for use. Designed to expand the opportunity for internal mobility for current WFU talent, this portal offers the capability for faculty and staff to review various positions before they become available to the general public.

In addition, the internal site provides numerous career planning tools, including interviewing tips, résumé advice and professional development opportunities. Human Resources strongly believes that this new portal will contribute to Wake Forest’s passionate commitment to retain top talent and help gifted faculty and staff realize their full potential.

Make sure to check it out and see how the new site can benefit you. To access the portal, log into your WIN account, click the “Info Central” tab and you will see a link to “WFU Community Career Opportunities.” Click to explore.

Change in health deductions for end of fiscal year

If you are enrolled in our medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account or other health plans and are paid on a biweekly basis, the university deducts your premiums evenly over the 26 pay cycles each year. Fiscal year 2011-2012 is from July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2012, and has 27 pay cycles.

As a result of this extra pay cycle, biweekly staff members will not have premiums deducted from the last paycheck of this current fiscal year paid on June 29 for work performed between June 9 and June 22. Contributions to the retirement plan will continue uninterrupted. The new premiums for fiscal year 2012-2013 will begin in the July 13 paycheck.
