Service to be held in Wait Chapel for Mel Sadler; two lots to close for service

This announcement was emailed to faculty and staff on Jan. 8 by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations:

On Wednesday, January 10, a funeral service will be held for Mel Sadler, longtime director of Forsyth County Emergency Management, on the Reynolda Campus.

Mr. Sadler will lie in state in Davis Chapel from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The funeral service will begin in Wait Chapel at noon.

To accommodate Mr. Sadler’s family, friends and public safety officials, Parking Lots A and P will close on Tuesday, January 9, at 5 p.m. They will remain closed until the service concludes on Wednesday.  (The lots are adjacent to Wait Chapel.)
