Crime Alert: Armed robbery at Reynolda Village

The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating an armed robbery in which an unidentified male robbed the Village Tavern restaurant in Reynolda Village.

The incident occurred Oct. 2 at approximately 11 p.m. The suspect held an employee at gunpoint and took cash from the restaurant. No one was injured.

The suspect has been described as a tall, thin male wearing a black or dark colored hoodie, pants and ski mask. He was last seen in the Reynolda Road area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Winston-Salem Police Department by calling 911 or 336-773-7700 or Winston-Salem Crime Stoppers at 336-727-2800. Information that may assist in the investigation may also be provided to University Police at 336-758-5911 or reported through the University’s Silent Witness website.
