School of Law launches ‘Awaken,’ a creative journal dedicated to bioethics

The School of Law has launched “Awaken: The Creative Journal of Contemporary Bioethics,” which is dedicated to exploring and understanding the field of bioethics through publication of creative, fictionalized short stories.

The journal website was made available to the public on Sept. 20 under the direction of Professor of Legal Writing Christine Nero Coughlin.

Supported by the Wake Forest University Center for Bioethics, Health & Society, the journal is open to submissions from Wake Forest students, faculty and staff, as well as others.   Information concerning publication opportunities is available here.

The School of Law announced “Awaken” this week on the school’s website.
