Information on power outage

UPDATE, 4:15 p.m.: Power has been restored. The potential for severe weather remains in the Piedmont Triad today and tonight. University officials advise monitoring local weather reports for the latest information.

A partial power outage has been reported in the area of campus near Reynolda Road and Silas Creek Parkway.

Drivers are advised to use caution at the Reynolda Road entrance, where the stoplight is out. The Winston-Salem Police Department is directing traffic in the area.

Currently, Reynolda Village and the Reynolda House of American Art do not have power. The museum is closed this afternoon. There is a partial power outage at the BB&T Reynolda Business Center.

The power outage occurred earlier this afternoon and is expected to be resolved around 5 p.m. We will provide an update when more information is available.
