Test of outdoor alert system to take place March 9

The University’s outdoor emergency alert system will be tested today (March 9) at 4 p.m.

Chimes will be heard by people on the Reynolda Campus when the system is tested.  The system is in place at several locations on campus, including at athletic facilities.

No response to the test is required.

The outdoor alert system is part of Wake Alert, the University’s emergency notification system.

If anyone has questions about today’s test, they may contact Wake Forest Emergency Manager August Vernon at 336-758-3377.
