This is an update to an Aug. 29 Wake Forest crime alert regarding two indecent exposure incidents.

A Winston-Salem man has been arrested on indecent exposure charges stemming from incidents at Wake Forest and Winston-Salem’s Hanes Park.  The man has also been arrested on a trespassing charge and several drug charges.  He is currently in the Forsyth County Jail.

The arrest was announced by the Winston-Salem Police Department on Sept. 12.

The Wake Forest University Police Department has charged the man with two counts of indecent exposure and one count of trespassing.  On Aug. 29, he is alleged to have exposed himself to two students walking on the paved walking trail that leads from campus to Reynolda Village.

The other charges were made by the Winston-Salem Police Department.

The investigation was assisted by images of the man captured by University cameras on the paved walking trail.

“The Winston-Salem Police Department, Wake Forest University Police Department, and  Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the media and members of the community for their assistance with identifying the unknown male,” according to the Winston-Salem Police Department announcement.
