reynolda.house.300x175A special invitation from Wake Forest’s Staff Advisory Council.

The Staff Advisory Council cordially invites all staff members to the 2014 Wake Forest Staff Appreciation Event on June 12. Drop by any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to enjoy lunch, games, music and fun on the lawn of Reynolda House Museum of American Art. During the event, the museum will also be open for staff to enjoy.

The event will feature:

  • Burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, snow cones and more…
  • Lawn games, including croquet, badminton, cornhole and bocce
  • A community mural art project
  • Music from Reynolda House’s calliope
  • A special “sneak preview” of the new well-being initiative THRIVE

A food drive to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina will be part of the event. By stocking their shelves, we can help provide lunches to school-age children during the summer months. A scoreboard will track which SAC Division brings the most items. Thanks to support from senior leadership, those who bring an item to donate can “dress down” the day of the event in casual attire (i.e., walking shorts or jeans) at the discretion of their department head. Please check with your supervisor for specific guidelines on acceptable attire.

Parking will be available at Reynolda House Museum of American Art. Designated shuttles will also run from the “horse shoe” in front of Benson and from the front of the UCC. The first shuttle will arrive at each location at 10:30 a.m. and will depart at 10:45 a.m. Or you can enjoy the beautiful 1/4 mile stroll to the Museum on the Reynolda Trail.

Please RSVP by registering online at the PDC website.
