Learn more about the United Way’s impact

Wake Forest’s United Way campaign in underway, and each employee should have received an email with a personalized link to the online pledge process. If you have questions or need information, please visit the campaign website.

Carmen Canales, chief human resources officer, is a longtime supporter of the United Way. She also has been personally impacted by the United Way’s support of community agencies.

“My family has had an opportunity to benefit from the services of the United Way,” Canales said. “My younger daughter attended a school for special-needs children for many years, and this gave her the opportunity to learn and grow, to go on field trips, and to make friends just like any other typical child.”
