ZSR renews — in your office

Z. Smith Reynolds Library takes the stewardship role of its book collection seriously. However, faculty engaged in long-term research projects may need books longer than the one-year checkout and one-year online renewal. Hauling all of your books back to the library for on-site renewal can be an onerous task.

Therefore, to balance collection oversight with faculty convenience, the library offers renewal service in your office. To request this service, faculty with more than 20 books checked out from ZSR may contact the Circulation Desk at zsrcirc@wfu.edu or x4931 to arrange for a time. Have the books already set apart and available. A “roaming” Circulation staff member, armed with a computer, will check the items in and back out to you again, and you can quickly return to your research.

Alternative ways to return books

You can always return books by bringing them to the library, or you can:

• Use ZSR Delivers to arrange for a pickup from your office.
• Use one of the three outdoor drop boxes, located on Gulley Drive (with passenger-side drive-up access), near Student Health and right outside the ZSR building’s front entrance.
